2010 N. Alabama 4-H Study Tour date and location announced!

The 2010 4-H Study Tour will be to Chicago, Ill, with stops in Kentucky and Indianapolis, Indiana this year. The dates for the trip are July 18-23rd. Please contact Amy Burgess at burgeap@auburn.edu or 256.558.7443 so that she can give you all of the details for this once in a lifetime trip!!

Northeast Alabama regional 4-H Council

The next meeting of the Northeast Alabama Regional 4-H Council will be Tuesday, November 10th beginning at 5:15 p.m. at the Jackson County Extension Office in Scottsboro. This is the leadership building group of the region and they are always accepting new members, please give Amy Burgess, 4-H REA a call if you are interested in getting involved!

Monthly club information

DeKalb County 4-H Beef Club- Will meet on Tuesday, October, 27th beginning at 5 p.m. at the home of Phil and Jeanette Roe. The club will be looking at the foundations of crossbreeding and genetics. The club is always looking for new members. Please call Amy Burgess for directions and more information.

Dekalb County Paws, Claws, Hooves and Feathers 4-H Club: October is wildlife month. The October meeting will be on the 17th at the home of Angie Dodd and will begin at 10 a.m. This clubs is also always looking for new members. If you have any questions, please give Amy Burgess a call. This club has a lot of neat plans for the year!

DeKalb County 4-H Sewing Club: Will hold its organizational meeting for the year on Tuesday, October 6th at 6 p.m. at the Geraldine Homemakers Building. Always looking for members. Call Amy for details. The club will have its regularly scheduled meetings each month on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Geraldine Homemakers building in Geraldine.

Marshall County 4-H Beef Club: Will hold its organizational meeting for the year on Thursday, October 22nd from 6-8 p.m. in the Extension Auditorium in Guntersville. Come and out and see what this club has to offer you!
